About Me
I am a mother, a daughter, a wife, a creative writer, a teacher, a minister of Religious Science, a grower, and a nurturer. I enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds me. Living in Trinity County has caused me to be more in tune with nature and the Healing Arts. I was first introduced to many of the Healing Arts when I lived in Santa Cruz, CA and I attended numerous Healing Arts Fairs there. The Trinity Alliance for the Healing Arts is a natural fit for me!
Gardening profile
I have been gardening off and on for 30 plus years now. Our current garden is located in Weavervile and I have a cedar greenhouse where I plant my starts in the early spring.
I prefer to garden organically and I compost all year long. I was inspired by Ruth Stout back in the 60's. Ruth gardened in a house dress long into her 80's and produced wonderful produce from her "no work" gardens to which she added rotten hay, leaves and all sorts of organic matter.
